Attorney General Henry McMaster says he will appeal a judge's judgment that allows the Catawba Indian Nation to operate video poker on their reservation. Judge Joseph Strickland refuse authorization for McMaster's demand to reconsider his December ruling yesterday that the tribe be allowed to operate video poker on its reservation despite a statewide ban on the games.The tribe's executive committee has already voted to hold off on video poker in favor of an electronic bingo hall in Santee.
